Art Classes with Hope Blakely
Learn to paint in a relaxed, encouraging setting with artist and Certified Ross Instructor Hope Blakely.
Hope teaches beginner-friendly and intermediate painting classes in oils, watercolor, acrylics, and more, including Bob Ross–style landscapes, wildlife, florals, seascapes, and other step-by-step painting techniques.
Many students begin with Bob Ross–style painting because it is an approachable way to learn the basics, build confidence, and discover that painting really is something they can do. From there, students often move on to other subjects, techniques, and styles.
Private Classes and Groups
Want to paint with friends, family, coworkers, or your own private group?
Private painting classes can be arranged for small groups, celebrations, family gatherings, and other special events. Class size, painting choice, location, and timing can be discussed based on your group.
Where Hope is Teaching & Traveling
Hope regularly travels for workshops, painting events, conferences, and special classes.
This section will show where she is teaching next so you can easily see when she may be painting in your area.

Meet the #BobJeep
If you have ever spotted a Jeep covered in Bob Ross artwork traveling down the road, there is a good chance you have seen Hope.
The Bob Jeep travels with her to classes. workshops, and painting adventures and has become a rolling advertisement for art, creativity, and the joy of painting!
One Bob Jeep video took off on TikTok and passed 10,000 views. Apparently Bob still knows how to draw a crowd
What to Expect
Whether it’s your first painting class or your fiftieth, a few questions always seem to come up. Wondering what to bring, what to wear, what age can attend, or how to get a wet oil painting home? I’ve gathered the most common class questions in one place so you’ll know exactly what to expect before you arrive.
Always Learning
An artist never stop learning. Hope continues to study different painting methods and techniques with artist and instructors she respects.
