Thanksgiving acrylic painting with a pilgrim child blowing transparent bubbles filled with words such as family, freedom, peace, hope, and memories against a glowing orange and yellow autumn landscape with pumpkins and trees.

Spend the day painting a warm Thanksgiving-themed bubble scene with artist Hope Blakely at the Hansen Museum in Logan, Kansas. Working in acrylics on a 16 × 20 canvas, students will create a glowing autumn sky, a pilgrim child, pumpkins, fall trees, and transparent bubbles filled with meaningful words and wishes. Along the way, Hope will guide students through background blending, simple figure painting, autumn landscape details, bubble transparency and reflections, and personalized lettering. Beginners are welcome, and each painter can choose their own words, hopes, or wishes to make the finished piece personal. All painting supplies are included in the class cost, including the 16 × 20 canvas, paints, and use of brushes. Hansen Museum members receive discounted class pricing; registration and final pricing are handled directly through the museum.
