Our Story

Hope did not study directly with Bob Ross, who died in 1995. His teaching, however, is an important foundation in her artistic story. Through the official Certified Ross Instructor program, Hope trained to teach the wet-on-wet landscape technique associated with The Joy of Painting. Bob’s accessible approach to painting, confidence, and willingness to embrace happy accidents continue to influence how Hope welcomes new painters into the studio.
