Bram Bevins — wet-on-wet oil painter and instructor
Our Story
Hope first painted with Bram Bevins at the first Steve Ross and Dana Jester workshop in Winchester, Indiana, in 2019. Only a few months later they crossed paths again at a Certified Ross Instructor reunion in Muncie, and over time Bram became part of the familiar group of artists Hope looked forward to seeing at workshops.
Bram is easygoing and quietly funny. He can seem reserved at first, but once he gets comfortable, his sense of humor comes out quickly. His own painting remains strongly rooted in the Bob Ross and Bill Alexander wet-on-wet tradition, and that consistency has made him a recognizable part of the workshop community Hope has grown through.

Hope painted with Bram Bevins in Townsend, Tennessee around 2021, during one of Bram’s early classes there with Steve Ross. One project was a Smoky Mountain scene looking across layered ridges from a high overlook.
