E. John Robinson — seascape artist and instructor
Our Story
Hope never met E. John Robinson personally, but studied his seascape methods through his instructional videos. Robinson died several years ago, yet his teaching remains available through recorded lessons and continues to influence painters today. His instruction goes deeply into the structure of waves, foam direction, the twist and movement of water, shadow placement, and the small visual cues that make a seascape feel convincing. Those lessons helped shape the way Hope approaches ocean movement and atmosphere in her own work.

Workshops and Events
Because E. John Robinson is no longer living, Hope’s study of his work comes through his recorded tutorials rather than current workshops. His detailed seascape lessons remain an important resource in her continuing study of waves, foam, motion, and light.
