November has a little bit of everything waiting at the easel: a glowing desert sunset, a meaningful Veterans Day tribute, and a bear who’s found a very good hiding spot.
Whether you’re picking up a brush for the first time or coming back for another round of happy trees, I’d love to paint with you. All supplies are included—just choose your class and come join us!

Cactus at Sunset
Tuesday, November 10 • 6:30–8:30 p.m. Arvada studio Oils • black 16×20 canvas • $65 All supplies included • Ages 14+
Trade the happy little evergreens for a few happy little cacti! We’ll paint Bob Ross’s glowing desert sunset, with warm colors, dark silhouettes and reflections. Beginners welcome; class size is limited to six painters.
The Weight of Freedom
Wednesday, November 11 • 6–8:30 p.m. Faith United Methodist Church • Sterling, CO Acrylics • 16×20 canvas • $65 All supplies included • Ages 14+
Join me on Veterans Day for a painting about service, remembrance and home. Add your own tribute words, names or messages to the red, white and blue bubbles to make this one personal.
Bear in the Trees
Sunday, November 15 • 1–4 p.m. Arvada studio Oils • 16×20 canvas • $65 All supplies included • Ages 14+
After all our neighborhood bear sightings, this fellow felt ready for another appearance. We’ll build a forest of layered evergreens and tuck a bear into the scene, with step-by-step help along the way.

Feeling adventurous? Mystery Santa Christmas Class — November 14, 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Arvada • $85 • 11×14 • oils over acrylic I’m looking for four adventurous “guinea pigs” to help me practice teaching a festive mystery painting. All supplies included; ages 14+.
A little holiday planning Snowy Shenanigans — November 19, 6–9 p.m. Empowering Oasis, Yuma • $65 Choose from nine whimsical designs and paint three mini snowman ornaments. Acrylics; all supplies included; ages 14+.
Christmas in the Air — November 27, 10 a.m.–1 p.m. Arvada • $65 • 16×20 acrylic Skip the Black Friday crowds and paint Santa, snowy trees and bubbles filled with your own Christmas wishes. All supplies included; ages 14+.
