Safe in His Arms

Safe in His Arms captures a quiet moment between a young boy and a puppy, with the child leaning in to kiss the pup’s head while holding it close. Painted in oils, the subdued background keeps attention on the warmth of the figures, while soft highlights in the boy’s hair and the puppy’s coat bring the scene gently forward. This intimate 11 × 14 portrait study speaks to trust, tenderness, and the beginning of a lifelong friendship. Original oil on canvas panel, unframed and ready to frame.
