Sanctuary
$1,100.00Price
Sanctuary is an original 10 x 20 inch oil painting of a Bengal tiger, inspired by a powerful encounter at the Wildlife Sanctuary in Colorado. During one of her visits, artist Hope Blakely captured a photograph of the majestic animal — a moment that lingered for years before finally taking shape on panel. Painted using a meticulous glazing method over eight weeks, this piece reveals depth, light, and reverence in every layer. The tiger’s gaze is steady and soulful, embodying both the raw strength and quiet dignity of sanctuary life.
