The Quiet Refuge

“The Quiet Refuge” ❄️✨ is a 12x16 original oil painting on stretched canvas, created in spring 2025 during a Kevin Hill class. While inspired by Kevin’s snowy mountain composition, this version takes on a softer, purple-toned palette, adding a unique atmosphere of stillness and calm.
A rustic cabin rests at the edge of a frozen landscape, framed by snowy pines and set against towering peaks. The subtle lavender hues give this winter scene a quiet, reflective mood — a moment of peace amidst the chill.
